ReplyDeleteThe constructions to which the arrows point is the north block and south block of the Central Secretariat where the Prime Minister's Office and the four major ministries Home, Defense, External Affairs and Finance are located.
The construction to the right of it is that of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The construction located at the lower part of the photo which is circular is the Parliament building.

There are two Dyer's connected to Jallianwala Bagh massacre. One is Sir Michael Francis O'Dwyer who was the Lieutenant Governor of Punjab when the massacre took place. The other one is Brigadier-General Reginald Edward Harry Dyer, the military official who commanded the forces to the location and gave the order to fire at unarmed people. The guy in the photo is Udham Singh, who assassinated Sir Michael Francis O'Dwyer and not Reginald Dyer. Reginald Dyer died as a result of failing health.
